Since 1994, Zhao Hui started to undertake the stone engineering projects such as Gubei Rome Garden and Hongqiao New Century Square and the provision and supply of stone curtain walls and interior stones for landmark buildings such as Xujing Cinema, Shanghai Grand Theater and Shenwan Securities Headquarters. He led the company to develop steadily step by step and was closely linked with the construction process of the city.

After 23 years of hard work, GLORIOUS GROUP, which he founded, has become a diversified comprehensive enterprise covering real estate, hotels, sports cars, asset management, investment and other fields. During this period, Zhao Hui successively studied for the EMBA degrees of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Shanghai Institute of Advanced Finance, improving himself and keeping pace with the times. He was rooted in Qingpu and looked at the world. From the perspective of city operators, he paid close attention to the landing of the strategic plan of Hongqiao and the quality life of Shanghai. He highly agrees with Dr. Xiang Bing, Dean of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, that to be an enterprise, one must have the general pattern of “looking at the earth from the moon” and an international vision.

“I am from Qingpu, and I have the responsibility to give my energy to the land that nurtures me.” Whenever talking about the career of GLORIOUS in Qingpu, Zhao Hui, a former member of the Political Consultative Conference of Qingpu District, always talks about his wish and gratitude. As early as the 1990s, Zhao Hui invested in the construction of Haojiafu Leisure and Entertainment Center, providing more content for people’s amateur life.

At the beginning of the 21st century, a number of residential areas is developed to improve the quality of urban life. GLORIOUS GROUP’s auto sector has been involved in the sales of high-end racing cars since 2004. It has the agency of lamburghini of Italy in East China and the general agency of Radical of Britain, KTM of Austria and Reiter of Germany in Greater China. The Xtreme Sports Car Club was established in 2009. Its racing team won 23 trophies in the 2017 China GT competition, winning the second and third place in different groups, as well as the annual team honor award and the third place in the annual team total championship.
